Feed the Soul

Feed the Soul looked like a café online – but it was also a yoga studio, events venue, and wellness hub. The website showed about 10% of what they actually offered. Yoga classes, supper clubs, and wellness workshops were completely hidden. There was no online booking system, outdated branding, and a dormant email list of 250 people that had never been activated.

The owners, Alex and her brother Nick, were working every hour at the café. They needed strategy and execution that didn't add more to their plate.

The Results

  • 90% of evening events now booked through email

  • 40+ event bookings per month (~20 attendees per event, twice monthly)

  • Expanded hours café went from Fri–Sat only to including Wed–Thu from increased demand

The Strategy

Email marketing

Set up and manage their monthly email sends (Mailchimp initially, then Flodesk). I handle planning, writing, and sending so the owner can focus on running the business. We average 65% open rate (industry standard: 20–30%) and 9% click rate (industry standard: 2–3%).

Website redesign

Rebuilt the site from the ground up – new fonts, colours, messaging, and structure to showcase the full offering. Added an online booking system for yoga classes.
